MUMBAI: ‘Dagabaaz Re’, ‘Pandeyjee seeti’, ‘Fevicol se’, ‘Saanson ne’ and finally, ‘Dabangg Reloaded’. Yes. Dabangg 2 is a mixed bag of chart-busters and romantic themes. And Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha are leaving no stones unturned to ensure that their moves match the soundtracks!

We hear that Sonakshi Sinha, who is a Kathakali amd Bharatnatyam enthusiast, on learning that romantic number ‘Dagabaaz re’ has a Kathakali sequence, joined the dancers with full gusto.

“There is a sequence in the song where there are Kathakali dancers and when Sonakshi came to know about this she got really excited! She loves learning new things and, in fact, has even learnt some Kathakali and requested the dancers to teach her a few more steps with details and nuances to get the moves right. And she did a decent job of it,” a source from the unit has revealed.

Reminiscent of the essence of “Tere mast mast do nain” from the first instalment of the ‘Dabangg’ franchise, singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has added a Sufi feel to ‘Dagabaaz re’.

Enthralled by Shreya Ghoshal’s sweet voice in the song, Salman Khan said, “Whoever has listened to the song once has asked to play the song again because it is such an awesome song.” Explaining the context of this song, he elaborates “Pandey Jee is really happy with his married life and the atmosphere around is all romantic.”

Apart from the romantic ‘Dagabaaz re’, you can look forward to ‘Pandeyjee seeti’ starring Malaika Arora Khan along with the lead pair. Salman Khan in his trademark cocky Chulbul Pandey rendition comes up with unique dance moves. Singers Mamta Sharma, Wajid and Shreya Ghoshal take the listener back to old world songs. ‘Pandeyjee seeti’ also has a remix version.

‘Fevicol se’, an out-and-out item song featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan. With a bhojpuri twist, singers Mamta Sharma, Wajid and Keerthi Sagathia belt out the robust lyrics and pronounce the words with an ethnic touch saying “Phebikol”.

For another dose of romance, tune in to ‘Saanson ne’, shooting for which was just wound up in Dubai. Finally, recapturing ‘Hud hud dabangg’ is ‘Dabanng reloaded’ with Sukhwinder Singh pumping up the energy.

Both cast and crew are enjoying not just the making of the movie, but also shooting the song sequences. While the lead pair cannot stop laughing, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and music composer duo Sajid-Wajid have completed recordings with zeal.
