MUMBAI: Prabhu Deva, also known as India’s Michael Jackson, has been given a rare honour for a choreographer, by being immortalised in wax!

Deva unveiled a spanking new wax replica of himself at a suburban Mumbai hotel. The life-sized figure will be housed in Lonavala wax museum.

Both real and wax Prabhu were seen in the same attire: a white shirt, grey blazer and black slacks. Standing before his wax figure, it was impressive to see that sculptor Sunil Kandalloor had made an almost perfect replica of the Bollywood choreographer turned director turned actor.

Deva, best known for his action films like ‘Wanted’ and ‘Rowdy Rathore’, said, “Today is a very important day for me. Just unveiled my wax statue for the Lonavala wax museum. I’m touched! Sunil and his team have done a great job with my statue.”
