If rumours are anywhere to be true, here’s a good news for Deepika Padukone fans. Deepika has been roped in for director Vishal Bhardwaj’s next film ‘Julia’. The movie is Vishal Bhardwaj’s dream project and a biopic on Mary Evans Wadia also known as the Fearless Nadia. The story will be based on the journey of the daring and very famous stunt woman in the 1930s.

Shahid Kapoor starrer film ‘Haider’ director, Vishal had the cast of the movie finalised few years back itself but after the production house backed out of the project, it was shelved. According to the reports, ‘Ram Leela’ star Deepika Padukone has already signed the film and will play the lead role in Vishal’s film ‘Julia’. In fact, the team has begun reworking on the script.
In the upcoming project ‘Julia’, Deepika will be working with ‘Haider’ director Vishal Bhardwaj for the very first time. The shooting for the film will start by the end of this year. Currently the actress is busy with Ranbir Kapoor starrer film ‘Tamasha’ and another film ‘Bajirao Mastani’, which also features Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.
