Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are touching new heights with their respective Hollywood films.
While Deepika made her Hollywood debut with Xander Cage, Priyanka’s debut film Baywatch is all set to release soon. However, something that is upsetting both the actresses is them being compared to each other. Other than this, Deepika and Priyanka are often mistaken for each other by western media.
Deepika Padukone might have surely felt awkward recently after she was addressed as Priyanka Chopra by foreign media. Yes, that happened! Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone faced oops moment at LA airport while she was heading for academy awards 2017 a couple of months back. As soon as she walked out of the airport, she found herself in an unwanted situation at the LAX airport when fans and media started calling her Priyanka Chopra.

At the recently held Cannes 2017 press event, when Deepika was asked about the same incident, she said, “Absolutely. It’s not just me being offended. Everyone should be offended. It is not just ignorance, it is racist. Two people of the same color aren’t the same. You should educate them and not encourage them.”
Reacting on being trolled for her outfit that she wore at recently held Met Gala 2017, Deepika said, “I have always looked at everything as opportunities. For me or her it is not about what we are wearing but it is the opportunity of being at the event. For me, it was that. Some may like some may not. People you meet and the experience u have are the memories u make. The only time I would allow any sort of comment to affect me is when my mom or my girlfriends give me some flak for it.”
