MUMBAI: Over 25 short and full-length films from five countries will be screened during a two-day IIC Asian Women’s Film Festival in Delhi. The theme of the festival is "insights and aspirations."
The festival is slated to be held on 7 – 8 March. The film festival will reflect on how women filmmakers negotiate, resist or document political, social, cultural, environmental, educational and economic issues.
The IIC Asian Women’s Film Festival is organised by International Association of Women in Radio and Television (IAWRT) and India International Centre Asia Project.
The festival will feature short and full-length films from India, Australia, Japan, Pakistan and the US.
Anupama Srinivasan’s film Everyday, which is a reflection on relationships, will open the festival while the closing movie will be Ayodhya Gatha by Vani Subramanian.
