Dhanush is all set to start shooting his next Hindi film and is very excited to share screen space with Superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Dhanush, made his presence felt in Bollywood last year in the much acclaimed movie Raanjhanaa.
The film is being directed by R. Balki and also marks the debut of Kamal Haasan‘s younger daughter Akshara Hassan.
Amitabh Bachchan has previously worked with R. Balki in Cheeni Kum in which he played the role of a chef based in London and donned the role of a special child Paa.
Mr. Bachchan too is very upbeat about the R. Balki’s untitled film and took on to twitter and wrote, “Rushed to meet with people from distant worlds, admirers that have long been desiring a personal interaction. Switched soon thereafter to a make-up room for the look test for Balki’s film, which I start shooting within a week.”
Coming back to Dhanush, well Soundarya who is ready with her directorial debut Kochadaiiyaan is very impredded with her brother-in-law Dhanush‘s performance in Raanjhanaa and hopes to work with him in the near future.
“I loved it! I told my brother-in-law how well he fit into that role of Kundan, and I loved the songs! He did an outstanding job in the film,” stated Soundarya.
Soundarya soon wants to work with Dhanush and stated, “Kochadaiiyaan is my first film and I would like to direct him. He is a senior actor, let’s see if he gives me his dates.”
Dhanush is married to Rajinikanth‘s daughter Aishwarya, who directed 3. 3 was a romantic psychological thriller directed by Aishwarya Dhanush who made her directorial debut with the film. The film starred Dhanush along with Shruti Haasan. The film gained high anticipation due to the viral marketing of the song Why This Kolaveri Di.
