MUMBAI: Dharma Productions forthcoming movie We Are Family, which was scheduled to release on Friday, 3 September, will now release on Thursday, 2 September.
Thursday being Janmashtami, which is a public holiday in India, will add to the box office collections of We Are Family.
While people in India and the UAE will get to see the movie from Thursday onwards; in the rest of the world (ROW) comprising the US, the UK and Australia, the movie will release as scheduled on 3 September.
It may be recalled that earlier We Are Family was supposed to release on 10 September. However, with the Salman Khan starrer Dabangg releasing on the same day, the release date of the movie was shifted a week earlier to 3 September.
We Are Family stars Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal and is a remake of Hollywood flick Stepmom. The movie is also Siddharth Malhotra’s debut as a director.
