MUMBAI: The third movie in the Dhoom series – Dhoom 3 will officially start shooting in May 2012 as per the original plan.
Produced by Aditya Chopra, the Communications team of Yash Raj Films has clarified, "It is unfortunate that without checking, a leading morning broadsheet irresponsibly declared that the shooting of ‘Dhoom 3’ had been indefinitely postponed and that it would be shot after Aamir Khan completes certain other future commitments. This is absolutely baseless."
Written and Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Dhoom 3 will see Aamir Khan play the anti-hero for the first time. The cast brings in Katrina Kaif and includes Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra who will continue in their previous roles of Jai Dixit and Ali. The film is slated for a 2013 release.
