MUMBAI: Disney Channel has entered into a deal with Apalya TV wherein the channel’s shows will now be available on mobile and data card service anywhere, anytime beginning 27 October via Apalya TV.
This is the first time that Disney Channel’s long form content will be available to mobile and data card users across India. Apalya TV services are available over mobile networks such as Idea, Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel, BSNL, MTNL, Reliance, Docomo, Tata Indicom, Tata Photon Plus, Virgin VFlash and Reliance NetConnect.
Viewers will be able to view Disney Channel shows such as Phineas and Ferb, Kya Mast Hai Life, Ishaan, The Suite Life on Deck, Wizards of Waverly Place and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on their mobile handsets or through their data card connection.

Any consumer with a GPRS connection can download the mobile TV application of his/her operator from the mobile-enabled WAP sites of their respective service providers and will get Disney Channel as a part of basic bouquet. Disney Channel is also available as a standalone premium channel on the mobile TV service of various mobile and data card operators.
