MUMBAI: Disney.Pixar will be releasing its 3D animation movie UP in India on 18 September.
The movie will release in English and Hindi in 2D and 3D in India across select theaters in Disney Digital 3-D.
UP is an animated comedy adventure in which 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen fulfills his dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America, only to discover that he has brought with him his biggest nightmare, an eight-year-old Wilderness Explorer stowaway.
The movie has been directed by Academy Award nominee Pete Docter. Earlier this year, UP was the first Disney film, first animated film and first 3D film to ever open the Cannes Film Festival.
UP has voiceovers by Ed Asner, Christopher Plummer, John Ratzenberger, Delroy. In the Hindi dub version, actor Anupam Kher has given the voice for Carl Ferdricksen.
