MUMBAI: Bollywood Actor Emraan Hashmi is really getting into the skin of his character for his upcoming ‘ Shanghai’. He has been busy experimenting with his looks.
In the political thriller, Hashmi plays the role of a small town boy who is very street smart. In order to match the role, Emraan underwent complete makeover for Shanghai. During the shoot of the movie, Emraan ate a lot of pasta to gain a paunch and sported a buck tooth as well.
“Emraan’s character in the movie is such that, he is always on the lookout to make money and once in a while does underground night shoots. If he sees a girl, he will talk to her into getting a photo shoot done," said Director Dibakar Banerjee
‘Shanghai’ also stars Abhay Deol and Kalki Koechlin, and is slated to release on 8th June.
