MUMBAI: Priyanka Chopra’s younger cousin Parineeti Chopra wants to follow in the footsteps of her illustrious didi, and wants to take up singing professionally like the uber-talented Priyanka!
Parineeti recently confessed that she is a trained singer, and that singing is her biggest passion. Said a cheeky Parineeti, who is evidently inspired by cousin Priyanka “I have been singing ever since I was eight months old. Singing is my biggest passion. I’m a trained singer in Hindustani classical music. I hope I’m also able to take it up professionally like Priyanka.”
Another unknown facet about Parineeti’s personality is that she is open to kissing scenes in films, as long as the script demands it. She will be seen locking lips with Sushant Singh Rajput in ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, and has no qualms about the scene at all.
Said a confident Parineeti: “A kissing scene is like any other scene for me. When you are reading a script, a kiss is a part of the story. It goes through seamlessly. You don’t see it as a standalone scene,” she said.
Good to know that she would never put in a no-kissing clause in her film contract! “I’d never put a no-kissing clause in my contract, as I don’t want to restrict myself as an actor. If a script demands it, I don’t give it a second thought at all,” revealed a bold Parineeti.
