MUMBAI: Single screen theatre Geeta, located in Worli in central Mumbai, re-opened on 27 April 2007 after being closed for repairs for several months.
The cinema hall began with the screening of Yash Raj Films’ TaRa Rum Pum. The theatre, say sources, is now equipped with air-conditioning and ample car parking facilities. The total collection capacity for 28 shows at Geeta has been pegged at Rs 8,69,876.
On the day the theatre re-opened, TaRa Rum Pum collected Rs 1,04,127, it is learnt.
