Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney shattered hearts last year when he decided to settle down with lawyer Amal Alamuddin. And look how time flies! The couple has already celebrated their first wedding anniversary in a rather low key manner keeping the affair private but romantic nonetheless. Instead of throwing a big bash for his lovely lady, Clooney took her out for a perfect romantic dinner with no one to disturb!
George and Amal got hitched in a grand ceremony at the Aman Canal Grande hotel on Sept. 27, 2014. And the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary away from the shutterbugs at Sunset Tower Hotel’s Tower Bar in West Hollywood. According to the people present at the hotel, the couple arrived late night and spent hours together wining and dining with champagne and much more. Both George and Amal dressed their best for the occasion looking great together, sources say.

Amal Clooney who is a British lawyer and activist has been in close terms with George’s family and friends. Clooney’s best friend and business partner Rande Gerber believes that Amal is a ‘great addition to the family’. The actor who was an eligible bachelor for quite some time after his split with actress Talia Balsam finally settled down last year as he found his perfect special one.
The ‘Oceans’ series star will soon be seen in films like ‘Hail, Caesar!’, ‘Money Monster’, ‘A Very Murray Christmas’ among others. He was last seen in the film ‘Tomorrowland’ starring Britt Robertson, Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy, Judy Greer and others.
