Mumbai: Last week’s release Golmaal Returns has grossed Rs 720 million (Rs 72 crores) at the box-office worldwide in nine days.
The film opened to a staggering 95-100 per cent occupancy across theatres on Wednesday and managed to keep it going for five days, till Sunday.
The film fared equally well in single screens and multiplexes. It is a sequel to Golmaal.
Golmaal Returns stars Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor along with Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Celina Jaitley and Anjana Sukhani.
It is directed by Rohit Shetty, produced by Shree Ashtavinayak and distributed by Studio 18.
