Gori Tere Pyaar Mein: Imran Khan Revisits His Childhood in Bangalore

Bollywood Actor Imran Khan who is currently in Bangalore shooting for Punit Malhotra’s ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ has told us that the city will always hold a special place in his heart as it is where he spent most of his childhood years.

BANGALORE: Bollywood Actor Imran Khan who is currently in Bangalore shooting for Punit Malhotra’s ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ revealed that the city will always hold a special place in his heart, as it is where he spent most of his childhood years.

‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ is a romantic comedy written and directed by Punit Malhotra and Produced by Karan Johar. The film stars Kareena Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Sainath Dukkipati opposite Imran Khan.  This will be Punit Malhotra’s second film after ‘I Hate Luv Stories’ which starred Imran Khan along with Sonam Kapoor. The film’s music is given by ‘Vishal and Shekhar’ who also gave music for Punit’s first film!

Sources close to the film shared, “When Imran got the news that the movie shoots were going to happen in Bangalore he was thrilled and shared his childhood tales with us. He was more than happy to leave for the shoots.”

The ‘Ek Main Aur Ek Tu’ actor studied in a boarding school in Bangalore and has returned to the city after a long time. Being back in the city after so many years to shoot has get him very excited and brought back many memories: “I have spent a lot of my childhood in Bangalore and thus this city will always be very special to me” said a nostalgic Imran.

This will be Imran’s second film with both Punit Malhotra and Kareena Kapoor. Well, we hope Imran enjoys shooting in Bangalore and hope we get to hear some of those childhood stories too!

‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ is going to hit the theatres on 15 November 2013. Keep your eye out for this one!
