MUMBAI: It is time for celebration again at the Deol house. Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s youngest daughter Ahana Deol was engaged last evening to Delhi businessman Vaibhav Vora.
The Deol’s elder daughter, actress Esha Deol married another businessman Bharat Takhtani around the same time last year. Apparently, Ahana Deol and Vaibhav Vora met at this marriage and hit it off immediately.
Both Ahana Deol and Vaibhav Vora were dating for a few months and only Ahana Deol’s close friends and relatives knew about this relationship.
Ahana Deol and Vaibhav Vora’s engagement took place at Hema Malini’s residence at Juhu yesterday. Hema Malini was, of course, elated about the engagement calling the event “another big day in my life”. She said, “Once again, it’s celebration time for us. Vaibhav is a very nice guy. We are very happy with the arrangement.”
Unlike the rest of the Deol family, Ahana Deol did not get into acting. Instead, she is a trained Odissi dancer, and also has an interest in fashion designing. She has also studied film-making.
Ahana Deol and Vaibhav Vora’s wedding date has not yet been fixed, though. Hema Malini says that the everyone will know of it “when we finalise it.”
