Here Is What Fans Did For Sidharth Malhotra On Friendship's Day!

Sidharth Malhotra was surprised to receive hundreds of Friendship bands from fans on the occasion of Friendship’s Day. Sidharth is amongst a few actors who has managed to gain a large Fan following in the very beginning of his career.

A large number of Friendship bands received were sent by his girl fans as Sidharth is a favourite amongst the female audiences.

His fans sent Friendship bands with hand written notes wishing the actor. These were sent to his house and a larger lot was received by Sidharth’s team. The actor was extremely happy and termed it as a considerate gesture by his fans. Sidharth feels that the love his fans garner on him is a motivating factor which further pushes him to expand his horizons.

A spokesperson confirms the news and says, “Sidharth woke up to hundreds of Friendship Bands on Sunday, leaving him pleasantly surprised.”

On the work front, Sidharth Malhotra will be seen with Akshay Kumar in Brothers. Brothers is about two brothers David Fernandes (Akshay Kumar) and Monty Fernandes (Sidharth Malhotra) come face to face for a boxing fight for their love and family. Akshay Kumar, who plays the role of David in the film, quits his Physics teacher job and joins boxing to become a full time fighter while estranged brother Sidharth Malhotra gets famous by his one viral video of boxing.

Kick actress Jacqueline Fernandez who plays the role of Akshay Kumar’s wife fights for her daughter’s illness who is suffering from kidney weakness. Actor Jackie Shroff who is father of the two estranged brothers encourages his son Monty to become a fighter.

he story is all about two brothers and two fighters who ultimately lead to fight with each other for love hatred and family. It’s a story of a love that got marked with hatred and that hatred went so strong that it ultimately turned blood against blood fight.

Well, must say the film is quite intense and for the first time Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in a powerful role while Akshay Kumar comes up again with his genre film without failing to do a justice to his role in the film. Trailer has already impressed us, all we can say is time will tell if audiences really liked it and how great it will make a Box office hit.

The film is an official remake of the 2011 Hollywood film Warrior. It stars Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles, while Jackie Shroff will be seen in supporting role.

Produced by Dharma Productions, Lionsgate Films and Endemol India, the film is set to release on August 14, 2015.
