MUMBAI: Hong Kong entrepreneur Johnny Han is eyeing India’s huge film and television market.
Han recently floated his Global Group’s production and financing arm Global Entertainment Group on London’s Ofex index and has hired former RTHK producer and director Stella Sze as managing director to steer Global into India and China. Sze will be based in Hong Kong. Earlier he had recruited former Helkon Media executive as the company’s CEO based in London.
Sze has been charged with identifying big budget English or local language co-productions between Asian and US companies, pan Asian co-productions, and low budget HD productions to unearth new talent.
