Hrithik Roshan And His Most Risky Project Till Date

hrithik roshan mainHrithik Roshan has gone ahead and given a nod to Ashutosh Gowariker‘s ambitious love story set in the Indus Valley Civilisation in motion.

So far, Ashutosh Gowariker is the solo producer of the film but negotiations are underway with a major studio. Ashutosh Gowariker who is proud of his Abhishek BachchanDeepika Padukone starrer, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, says that this one would be the most risky project that he has ever done.

“Some films you make with a lot of passion and integrity, but they fail. What can you do about it? I’m very proud of Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and given a chance, I wouldn’t have made it differently. As far as taking risks is concerned, Mohenjo Daro will probably be my most risky film till date. If you let the Box Office numbers cloud your cinematic vision, then you will never be able to make thefilm you truly want to make,” said the filmmaker who is very excited to team up with Hrithik Roshan post Jodha Akbar.

But setting the stage for the historical romance has not been easy for Ashutosh Gowariker. He gave the first narration to Hrithik Roshan back in 2011 and the actor was instantly convinced about the project and fell in love with the script.

However, Hrithik Roshan had various previous commitments, which he needed to complete before he could dedicate himself to a mammoth project like Mohenjo Daro.

“Just by Hrithik Rosha‘s presence in Mohenjo Daro I am sure he will make the entire city and civilization believable. Likewise, I may have succeeded in creating the Mughal era without Hrithik in Jodhaa Akbar. But the era would not have come alive without him. I am glad we’re back together. The film will go on the floors in three months.” stated an upbeat Gowariker.

Currently is busy shooting his television Everest, post which he begins work on this film. Now weather this Hrithik RoshanAshutosh Gowariker team be able to create the same magic at the Box Office as they did in Jodhaa Akbar only time will tell.
