Anuj Saini who was recently spotted with veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor has now shot with B-Town girl Alia Bhatt in a popular commercial. The newcomer counts himself lucky for working with Alia whom he describes as a thorough professional and a very talented actor.
Here is a recent conversation with Anuj on his experience of shooting with the ‘Raazi’ artiste & what he’s looking forward to:
First an ad with Pankaj Kapoor and now Alia Bhatt, how does it feel?
The feeling is always amazing to work with such great names in the initial phase of my career. All I can say is that I am the lucky one.
The best thing about working with Alia Bhatt.
Alia is the best by far when it comes to her age in the industry and the kind of work she has done is spectacular. I am blessed to have worked with her right at the start of my career. She is extremely professional and good to talk to. Alia is no doubt one of the finest actors in our county and there was so much to learn from her in a short time.
The best part of your job.
I have done so many characters in so many ads that it feels amazing to be someone else at times and working with people you always see on big screen is definitely a cherry on the cake.
How did the opportunity come your way?
Usually for an ad, actors all across the country auditions, so did I. Later, Next day around the mid night I received a call from the casting agent and he confirmed. I just couldn’t believe.
Any offer of doing a web-series as well?
Well, there have been many. Specially the one which I wanted to do but missed it as I was doing my workshops in Pondicherry.
What’s next on the map?
I am going to shoot for web series very soon. I can’t reveal much as I am bound by contract. Apart from that I have already shot for a couple ads which will be on air soon.
