MUMBAI: Kai Po Che’s Amit Sadh who was in a long-term relationship with actress Neeru Bajwa until they broke up a few years ago says the rumours linking him with actor Ayub Khan’s wife Niharika are baseless.
In fact friends of Amit say he was in a relationship with another girl until a few months back. But when I ask him about the girlfriend now Amit confesses they have split.
As for Niharika, Amit protests, “Someone is after me! Niharika is a great friend. But I don’t know who is spreading these rumours about us. It must be someone very shallow. What people think or talk is beyond my control. Honestly I don’t even care. As long as I live my life truthfully I’ve nothing to fear. Anyway, this is futile. I want to be written about for my work and not for whom I am dating.”
When I ask Amit who is spreading the rumours about Niharika he replies, “I don’t know! There are all kinds of people. Who knows who is having fun at my expense! For me this matter is closed. There is so much happening in my career. I want to focus on that.”
