MUMBAI: Whilst Rakhi Sawant is selecting Mr Right for herself, she is also, equally eager about the preparations going on for her wedding.
Befitting the royalty and ambience of Fatehgarh, the bride-to-be is all set to make the biggest day of her life truly a grand and magnificent one.
Designers Neeta Lulla and Farah Ali Khan have taken up the task of designing Sawant’s clothes and jewellery for her wedding. When Sawant met Lulla, she told her that she wants to look just like Aishwarya Rai.
Lulla shared some design sketches with Sawant on the kind of look that she should have, and suggested various colours that would look good on her complexion. She also told Sawant that she wants her to be dressed very traditionally like a true Indian princess on her big day.
Farah showed Sawant various intricate stone studded designs that she should wear for her big day. From diamonds to kundans to emerald and rubies, Sawant tried on necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings. Farah not only suggested what outfits she should wear them on put also gave her suggestions on maintaining her jewellery.
Sawanti’s bridal trousseau will be showcased on Rakhi Ka Swayamvar on 9 July at 9 pm on NDTV Imagine.
