Here’s What Salman Khan Has To Say On Not Receiving Any Award For His Acting

Salman Khan responds on asking as to who is going to win the best actor award at IIFA this year.

The Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt attended the first official press conference of IIFA 2017, which is going to be held in New York this year. The press conference was held at a five-star hotel in Mumbai.

It was at that event where Salman talked about how hard it has become to compete with the younger generation. The actor said, ”My fans keep me going. The older you get, the harder it is to keep going as you need to compete with your juniors and it is difficult. Today competing with juniors is very difficult.”

On being a part of IIFA, he said, ”I will be part of everything that happens with IIFA this year. I will be performing on stage on ‘Radio’…and maybe giving away an award but not receiving one.”

Salman has been nominated for his performance in Sultan. When the Sultan actor was asked as to who is going to win the best actor award at IIFA this year, he said, ”Definitely not me. I believe in the rewards I get from IIFA and fans, but awards are not my thing.”

The actor will be seen performing in the award show, which is going to be held in the Metlife Stadium in the New York City between July 13-15.

Salman is currently working with Katrina Kaif in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai. The film is slated to release on December 22, this year. He is also busy in promoting his upcoming release Tubelight, which will be released on June 23, in the festive season of Eid.
