Lonavala… to exhibit at Hong Kong Filmart

MUMBAI: Wilson Luis is planning to take his latest feature film Lonavala Khandala Ghat to the forthcoming Hong Kong Filmart.


The Hong Kong film market, to be held from 23 March this year, showcases international films in several languages. Luis’ film has been shot at one stretch in a period of just 19 days.


“My last film Ho Sakta Hai was also displayed at the Hong Kong Filmart and I had received very good response and helped to sell my film. Through this market, Ho Sakta Hai could also be displayed at Cannes the same year. I plan to release Lonavala Khandala Ghat in the overseas markets and then in India. I want to complete the mixing and special effects for the film before 23 March,” says Luis.


This two hours 35 minutes long film is budgeted at Rs 10 million (Rs one crore) and stars British actress Lydia in the lead, the rest of the cast are newcomers. The film is shot at authentic indoor and outdoor locations in Lonavala and Khandala in Maharashtra. Jignasha Thakker is the producer of the film, which is being made under the banner of Verve Communications.
