International Children’s Film Forum launched at Global Festival of Films

MUMBAI: The International Children’s Film Forum was launched on the second day of 2nd Global Festival of documentary Films 2009.


Film, TV, Media persons from all over India and other parts of the World  joined by the Ambassador of Mongolia in India H.E. Voroshilov Enkhbold, film makers Basu Chatterjee, Karl Bardosh, Pankaj Parashar Gurbir Garewal and music director Wajid Khan were present at the event.

 

International Children’s Film Forum (ICFF) is the first ever Forum of its kind in the private sector of India. ICFF has been established by Marwah Studios president and Noida Film City founder Sandeep Marwah. "This Forum believes that moving picture could play significant role in shaping the mind, body and character of younger children and that films for children should be informational, educational as well as entertaining," said Marwah.

 

The organization will get support from Asian Academy of Film and Television, Asian School of Media Studies, International Film and Television Club and International Film and Television Research Centre.
