MUMBAI: A festival of international short films, documentaries and animation movies is scheduled to be held in Goa this month.
The five-day event will be held from 28 April and will be inaugurated by Bollywood actors Aamir Khan and Rahul Bose. Short-film maker Anand Patwardhan will be the guest of honour for the festival, which is being held in association with Union Information and Broadcasting ministry.
Close to 75 short films, documentaries and animation films — including those produced by the Films Division — ranging from three minutes to 50 minutes, will be screened at the Dinanath Mangueshkar auditorium as well as the Black Box. Additionally, some productions by the Goan filmmakers will also be shown at the festival.
