Piku’s smooth and soft story created a melodies rhythm in the hearts of the audiences. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, Piku has received applause from the movie lovers. Piku’s star Irrfan Khan feels grateful after receiving good reactions from the people and to have fulfilled everyone’s expectation. The actor took to his official Twitter account to pour his heart out and thank everyone for the success of Piku. He went further on and said that Piku’s success is victory of audiences and the new film makers who are experimenting new things to engage the audiences on a whole new different level.

Piku tells a story of a head strong, hard working, ideal daughter, Deepika Padukone and her struggling complicated relationship with her father, Amitabh Bachchan. The film also stars Bollywood’s one of the most talented actors, Irrfan Khan, who plays the role of a cab driver in the film, who gets helplessly caught up in the middle of father and daughter’s disagreements through out their road trip to Kolkata. Piku succeeded in connecting with people of all age groups. The comedy drama film has found a place in the hearts of the audiences.
