Bobby Jasoos, starring Vidya Balan, is a film which revolves around the journey of a female detective and Ranbir Kapoor, who will be seen in another detective film, Jagga Jasoos is all set to promote Bobby Jasoos.
Dia Mirza, who is the producer of the film approached Ranbir Kapoor for bytes for a series which is part of the promotion of Bobby Jasoos and Ranbir Kapoor readily agreed to be a part of it. Bobby Jasoos, is set in Hyderabad and shows Vidya Balan speaking Hyderabadi language with penchant.
Apparently, Vidya Balan invested two weeks in trying the looks. “She underwent a hundred and twenty two changes, out of which around twelve were shortlisted. Each look required her to wear a different costume and sport complementing make-up. She would try six to eight looks every day and was extremely patient while selecting which ones fit the narrative of the story,” says a source close to the film’s team.
On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor‘s Jagga Jasoos is being directed by Anurag Basu in which Ranbir Kapoor is essaying a role of a seventeen year old boy. There are loads of expectations from this film and we do hope that this one works at the Box Office.
Ranbir Kapoor‘s Jagga Jasoos is his first home production and is being shot in Cape Town with Katrina Kaif as his leading lady.
While Bobby Jasoos is set for a July 04, 2014 release, Jagga Jasoos is expected to release on May 29, 2015.
