Jodhaa Akbar grosses Rs 1.20 billion worldwide in 31 days

Mumbai: A co-production between United Motion Pictures (UMP) and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions, Jodhaa Akbar has grossed Rs 1.20 billion (Rs 120 crores) in 31 days worldwide.
Of this, Rs 900 million (Rs 90 crores) is from India and Rs 300 million (Rs 30 crores) is from the overseas box office.
UMP director Siddharth Roy Kapur said, "Jodhaa Akbar is an epic not merely by virtue of the timeless story it tells, but also because of the tremendous tribulations its creation entailed. But the response Jodhaa Akbar has received not only in India but worldwide, by both critics and viewers, is worth all the hard work."
Jodhaa Akbar released across 25 countries in 1500 screens worldwide and was dubbed in Tamil, Telegu, Dutch and Arabic.
