John Abraham shoots after four months

MUMBAI: Actor John Abraham has finally opted out of his forced sabbatical and started shooting. Though the actor is yet to don the grease paint for a film, it was for an engine oil commercial that John carved out time and came to a suburban studio for the shoot.

An eyewitness who was present tells Businessofcinema.com, “John came in his brand new bike, which he got on his birthday. He was looking absolutely fabulous. I think the break in Australia has done him a world of good.”

Abraham had taken his lady love, Bipasha Basu for a 10 day holiday to Australia’s Gold Coast.

In the Castrol ad, Abraham is donned in a soccer uniform, as the brand is one of the main sponsors of the next Football World Cup. As the Indian face of the brand, Abraham, who is known for his interest in sports, will be seen promoting the event via his endorsement.

And with the shooting of this ad, Abraham has now revved up his work pace. His shoot for the Castrol ad has come after a period of four months, last he was shooting for Abbas Tyrewala’s 1-800-Love in London in September.

Soon, he will be flying out to the US to train in combat training for Nishikant Kamat’s next film. Abraham says, “This is the way I would like to work. Prepare for a film and give it my best shot, then take a long break, unwind and start all over again for the next project. Currently I have films with only four directors. This is the way I believe, I can give a film the time it requires and do quality work too.”
