MUMBAI: John Abraham has a new mantle on his ample shoulders: that of a ‘love-guru’. The hunky actor-turned-producer recently caught up with a gaggle of girls from the media industry, and shared a heart-to-heart with them to promote his upcoming film ‘I, Me Aur Main’.
The topics under discussion were reportedly love, relationships and quite naturally films. John had a blast with the pretty ladies over a cup of coffee and conversation. Looking relaxed in a casual white linen shirt and grey slacks, our ‘Race 2’ superstar shared quite a few tips and relationship advice with the lucky ladies, who were over-the-moon to be sharing some quality time with their favourite Bollywood hunk.
John was ever the sweetheart as he even posed for pictures with these media professionals, who were overheard to be gushing about his chivalry and impeccable manners.
John bared his heart and was open to talk about his investment-banker girlfriend Priya. “Priya and I met through common friends. Definitely there was attraction, but it takes much more than physical attraction to be in a relationship. I am in a happy space right now. She is extremely supportive and prefers to be away from the public eye. If she calls me at 11.30 in the night and I am caught up with something or am tired, she says I should take rest or go to sleep once I am done with work. It means a lot to me. She gives me space and I give her space. She is currently in London to pursue her two-year full-time MBA, so ours is a long-distance relationship. We will get married when I take a break from work.”
Loyalty is a major plus point for John in a relationship. We overheard him saying, “It’s important to be loyal. Loyalty, to me, is to be with the one person that you are in love with. I am not a possessive boyfriend though.”
Ever the gentleman, John didn’t comment when asked about ex-girlfriend Bipasha Basu, “I don’t speak negative about my past relationships. I don’t pay attention to what is written. After a while, it stops affecting you.”
