Kangana Ranaut is doing all that she can, for her latest film Rajjo that is ready for release on November15, 2013. Currently, Kangana is riding high on the success of Krrish 3 and she has pinned all her hopes on Rajjo, a film where she essays the title role.
Rajjo is a story of nautch girl. It’s one unique love story between Rajjo (Kangana Ranaut) and Chandu (Paras Arora) set against the backdrop of the dying Kothas of Mumbai. Rajjo is a muslim girl and Chandu a young brahmin boy. When Chandu helps his team win a cricket match, the team decides to celebrate the victory by visiting the Kothas of Nagpada. This is where Chandu meets Rajjo and falls in love. Thus starts an uncanny love story.
Rajjo and Chandu have to deal with Begum (Mahesh Manjrekar) who runs the Kotha and Hande Bhau (Prakash Raj), a corporator.
Kangana Ranaut went to the dargah of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, Ajmer along with director Vishwas Patil, to seek blessings for her Rajjo on November 12, 2013.
Rajjo is produced by Four Pillar Films, starring Kangana Ranaut, Paras Arora, Prakash Raj and Mahesh Manjrekar.
