Kara Fest to profit India, Pak: Mukesh Bhatt

MUMBAI: Producer Mukesh Bhatt’s movie Woh Lamhe will be screened at the Kara Film Festival in Karachi this December. The film is directed by Mohit Suri and starred Shiney Ahuja, Kangna Ranaut and Shaad Randhawa.

“I am very happy that Kara Film Festival has selected Woh Lamhe for their prestigious festival in Karachi. This will be my first film to be screened at this festival. I would like to thank the Pakistan government for taking this initiative, which will be profitable for both the countries. The credit for this should go to my brother Mahesh Bhatt who is the brand ambassador of this event and made it possible. I am looking forward to this event,” says Mukesh Bhatt.

The festival is scheduled to be held from 7 – 17 December. Being in its sixth year, the Kara Film festival is an initiative towards the development of the motion picture industry in Pakistan. It endeavours to provide a platform to experienced as well as new film makers to exhibit their creative endeavour and at the same time learn from each other.
