Karisma Kapoor, felicitated the winners of the Playwin Sikkim Jackpot, and interacted with media. Soon after a bitter divorce, actress Karisma Kapoor stepped out to attend an event for Playwin Lottery and face media.
Karisma Kapoor stated: “I hope even I win a lottery tonight. Just want to congratulate all the winners.”
When the media asked her if Karisma would soon be seen on the big screen again, she replied: “My kids are young as of now, so when I feel like, and I get an exceptional script, I will definitely act.”
However, her bold step back-fired as media persons present there hit her with a volley of questions despite her clear instructions that she won’t take any questions. Unhappy with inquisitiveness, Karisma Kapoor walked out without answering their questions.
Karisma Kapoor and her Delhi-based businessman husband Sunjay Kapur have finally ended their marital alliance on a rather ugly note. During divorce proceedings, couple indulged into bickering and arguments. Eventually they agreed upon divorce by mutual consent with timely intervention by Karisma’s brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan who eased out the process.
Reportedly, trouble in paradise started soon after their marriage because of Sunjay’s alleged affair with socialite Priya Sachdev.
The couple married in the year 2003 and they have two kids, Samaira Kapoor and Kiaan Raj Kapoor.
Now if reports are to be believed then Karisma Kapoor is going strong with Sandeep Toshniwal, Chief Executive Officer of Eurolife Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.
However, an insider has revealed that the couple are now going strong. So much so that lover boy is planning to whisk his lady abroad to celebrate her birthday on June 25, 2014.
