Things are not going too well between Katrina Kaif and director Anurag Basu. The film ‘Jagga Jasoos’ after a long delay will finally release next year in April. The movie has been in the news only for its delays and tiffs. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in lead roles the film had to bear all the more because of their break up. The movie has already lost its charm amidst the audience because of the ever long delay. It was also in the limelight that Anurag Basu and Katrina Kaif had a difference of opinion on the sets of the film which turned into a heated argument.
Apart from the progress of the movie another eye-grabbing update about the film has now come about. Even before the release of the film the makers are planning about its sequel. Reports state that Anurag Basu is ready to direct the sequel of the film only if the upcoming one proves to be a hit at the box office.
Moreover, the filmmaker has also hinted at the fact that the script for the sequel is already in his mind and he has discussed the same with Ranbir Kapoor. It is assumed that Ranbir will very much be a part of the second installment, but Katrina Kaif will no longer be cast in the film.
The reason for the stated is not yet known but the dwindling rapport between the director and Katrina is the speculated reason. We wonder whether Ranbir will nod a yes to the project after facing hassles in the first part itself!
