Probably one of the most long drawn and most awaited results related to the Kardashians was on the topic of Khloe and Lamar’s divorce. Khloe Kardashian married Lamar Odom in September of 2009 and while things were well for the initial few months, Khloe originally filed for divorce in December 2013. However, many eyebrows were raised when she briefly cancelled her application in 2015. The reason for this cancellation was that Lamar had to be hospitalized after being found unconscious in a brothel in Nevada. Khloe cancelled the divorce application so that there would be no trouble for her to be helping him out personally during this trying time.
However, on 26th of May 2016, Khloe once again filed for divorce from Odom and this time it is final as per reports. After she has cancelled the divorce application, fans hoped that she would at least think of reconciliation with her husband especially after the whole hospitalization fiasco. Reports suggest that reconciliation was on the cards, but then when photos of Lamar drinking resurfaced in March this year, Khloe decided that splitting up was the only way to go.
However, there won’t be any bitter fighting over money here since the duo has a rather water-tight pre-nuptial agreement to stick to. According to this, they both will end up with a lot of money and so there is no reason to fight. As per the state’s law, the divorce will take 6 months to be finalized and after that the duo will be completely free from each other.[/tps_footer]
