Salman Khan and director Subhash Ghai have had some shocking history together, which we are sure you didn’t know about.
Subhash Ghai and Salman Khan had got into a very bad fight before doing Ghai’s directorial film Yuvvraaj with Katrina Kaif in 2001.
In an interview in 2002 to a daily, when Salman Khan was accused of hitting his then alleged girlfriend, Aishwarya Rai, he revealed something. He said that he has never beaten her and ynyone can beat him up instead. He said any fighter on the sets could thrash him. That is why people were not scared of him.
He revealed, “I do get emotional. Then I hurt myself and have banged my head against the wall. I have hurt myself all over and cannot hurt anyone else. As I have only hit Subhash Ghai. Yet, I apologized to him the next day.”
After that he revealed the reason why he got upset with the director. He said, “There are times when you do get out of control. That person hit me with a spoon, almost broke a plate on my face, pis*ed on my shoes and grabbed me by the neck. I could not control myself. And see what happened. Next day, I had to go and apologize.”
Subhash Ghai too shared something. He said, “It was very embarrassing for me that night and I came back home completely depressed. Next morning I got a call from Salim sahib who paid his respect to me by apologizing and sent Salman to my home within one hour. Salman came and stood in front of me like a guilty child. I smiled and asked him, ‘What happened to you last night ?’ and he said, ‘I have come here because my father told me to do so.’ I said, ‘So you are not sorry?’ and he replied, ‘Of course I am.’ That’s how we broke the ice,”
Salman Khan has been highly supportive of Subhash Ghai. He has also promoted his films on social media many a times. Now we wait to see Salman Khan star in one of Subhash Ghai’s films.
