Bollywood filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is currently putting his heart and soul in his next directorial, which is a biopic on Sanjay Dutt, played by Ranbir Kapoor. The very first time when it was announced that Ranbir will step into the shoes of Sanjay Dutt, many were disappointed as there was no resemblance between them. But now, going through the recent on sets pictures of Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt, we think it’s not a wrong decision. With each passing day, Ranbir Kapoor has molded himself as Sanjay Dutt in order to bring out his best for the biopic film.
Ranbir Kapoor is seen spending much time with Sanjay Dutt and is trying to learn the body language from the actor. The heartthrob is currently shooting for the biopic in Mumbai and the first pictures from the sets are drool worthy. Those long hair and 90s style, makes him look like Sanjay Dutt from his old days. One can also spot Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt in the picture.

Well, Ranbir Kapoor is surely getting into the skin of the character. In fact, recently he even watched 250 hours of Sanjay Dutt‘s footage that included his films, videos, interviews and appearances. Talking about the cast, Dia Mirza will be seen playing Sanjay’s wife Manyata while Manisha Koirala has been roped in to play Nargis.
