MUMBAI: The fourth day of the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) was quite a star-studded blockbuster, with film stars like Prachi Desai, Aditi Rao Hydari, Chitrangada Singh, Hazel Keech, Vidya Malvade and Vinay Pathak walking the ramp for various designers.
Prachi Desai headlined Shruti Sancheti’s show in a stylish, fashion forward blue, maroon and off-white sari, and a pair of oversized nerdy glasses. Prachi shocked everyone with her latest look, and we overheard people in the front row gushing over her experimental fashion. (SEE PHOTOS HERE)
Aditi Rao Hydari, that beautiful, dainty Bollywood beauty, sizzled in a red and gold royal lehenga at the Payal Singhal show, and her ramp walk was greeted by whistles and catcalls. The sexy ‘Murder 3’ star took it all in her stride, and was basking in the limelight. (SEE PHOTOS HERE)
The very sexy, the very stunning and the very stylish Chitrangada Singh strutted down the runway for her designer friend Gaurang Shah, and was seen looking like royalty in a black printed sari, a bouffant hairdo and red painted lips and nails. Smoking hot! (SEE PHOTOS HERE)
‘Bodyguard’ star Hazel Keech sizzled the runways in a white floral summery Purvi Doshi creation. The fair-skinned beauty was excited about her debut ramp-walk, when she said: ““It’s been an amazing experience walking as a Showstopper at Lakme Fashion Week for the first time. I’m glad to be a part of spreading the message of ‘Save the Endangered Species’ along with Purvi. The Purvi Doshi creation is elegant as well as fun, which is what my personal style is all about. ‘Chak De! India’ girl Vidya Malvade (SEE PHOTOS HERE) was seen walking the ramp for Farah and Firdos in a heavily embroidered pink and purple salwar suit, while ‘Bheja Fry’ star Vinay Pathak got the loudest cheers and applause for his sashay down the ramp, for Agnimitra Paul, in an eclectic green dhoti and white kurta, replete with a bright red jhola bag strung across one shoulder.
