Link-ups with co-stars are a common feature story for all celebs. Once a celebrity, no part of their life escapes media glares o public attention. Shraddha Kapoor, who is gearing up for her upcoming release, Rock On 2, feels such rumors are unfair as they take away the limelight from her professional life.
“Link-ups have always bothered me. Be it with whoever it has been in the past, because I feel like it is very unfair on an actor especially when you’re working together and you are also giving an interview,” says the 29-years-old actress.
There were reports doing rounds about the ABCD2 actress dating her Rock On 2 co-star Farhan Akhtar while shooting the film.
Shraddha, who was earlier linked to her Aashiqui 2 co-star Aditya Roy Kapoor feels that her performance will take a backseat and all that will be reported is about the alleged link-ups. “So, I feel it is very unfair to me. I feel I’ve given 66 days of my life to the film shoot, if I’ve given another 70 days for prep, and it all comes down to me talking about my personal life.”
She feels the artists should be in the news for their professional achievement and people should empathize with the hardwork that goes in making a film. “I think that people should really understand what it takes to make a film. It cannot be about link up rumours and stuff. I feel interviews should be more about that (films).”
Daughter of Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kolhapure, Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in Baaghi opposite Tiger Shroff.
Rock On 2 which also stars Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli, is all set to release on November 11, 2016.
