Mumbai: Over the weekend, Luck By Chance got lucky at the multiplexes in metro cities but Victory failed to emerge victorious.
Luck By Chance started slow on Friday, but picked well over on Saturday and Sunday and fared well in metro cities running to 80 – 90 percent occupancy in Mumbai and South India and around 70 percent in North India. The film hasn’t fared well in B and C centers.
However, despite the fact that Luck By Chance comes from the same makers and team of Rock On, multiplex officials doubt this movie to have as successful an innings like Rock On.
On the other hand, Victory didn’t get a good start on Friday and fell flat over the weekend.
Raaz – The Mystery Continues and Slumdog Millionaire, which are running in their second week saw audiences coming in, almost in equal numbers for the two movies. The movies had average 40-50 percent occupancy.
