MUMBAI: If all goes well, Madhur Bhandarkar’s Jail produced by Percept Picture Company will go on floors in March. The film was earlier supposed to go on floors in October last year and release by mid-2009. However, Bhandarkar was busy with Fashion till late October and hence the delay.
Bhandarkar, who is currently working on the scripting and casting of the film, says, "Jail should be ready to go on floors in March. Most of my research work is ready and I am still getting more permission for research. I will be shooting Jail on a start to finish schedule in Mumbai. Jail is a quickie film."
The film is a thriller starring Neil Nitin Mukesh and gives a ringside view of the world that exists inside the walls of prisons spread across our country.
