MUMBAI: Veteran actor Manoj Kumar, who has last seen in K C Bokadia’s Maidan-e-Jung 17 years ago, will return to the sliver screen with Deepak Balraaj Vij’s Malik Ek.
Vij, who is the producer and director of the film says, “Manoj Kumar will pen the lyrics of this film, which is being composed by Anup Jalota. The song will be recorded in a couple of days in the voice of Anup Jalota himself. Manoj Kumar will feature in this pious number.”
Incidentally, Kumar had given a break to Jalota, 30 years ago, in his film titled Shirdi Ke Sai Baba. Jalota had rendered four songs for the film, which fared well at the box-office.
Malik Ek, the second film by Vij on the pious saint, stars Jackie Shroff in the title role. Divya Dutta, Rohini Hattangadi and Zarina Wahab also star in the film.
