MUMBAI: Actor Anuj Saxena’s production house Maverick, which is presenting Sushmita Sen, Fardeen Khan and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dulha Mil Gaya, is going to launch television actress Aamna Shariff in Bollywood.
The film is titled Aloo Chaat in which Aftab Shivdasani has been cast opposite her. Robby Garewal who had directed MP3 (Mera Pehla Pehla Pyar) is directing the film.
Saxena says, “Aamna and Aftab both suited the roles perfectly, they also make a good pair together and I think they will create the necessary magic for this film.”
The film will go on the floors in mid-February in a start to finish schedule.
After the co-production of Dulha Mil Gaya, this is Maverick’s first independent production.
