Megastar Chiranjeevi who celebrated his 60th birthday in a grand style, will feature in a 15-minute cameo in his son Ram Charan Teja‘s upcoming Telugu action film, the film is almost on the stage of completion. The movie is titled as “Merupu RC9” or “Bruce Lee” tentatively.
The film director, Sreenu Vaitla revealed that Chiranjeevi will appear for 15 minutes in the film. The director didn’t reveal much about his role, but assured that his fans will love it. The shooting of Chiranjeevi’s portion will soon go on the floors as said by the director.
The film marks the Telugu debut of South actor Arun Vijay, who will be seen as the antagonist in the film. Arun Vijay, who had been left unrecognized in the Tamil industry for long, got a deserving break in the Ajith starrer Yennai Arindhaal. He is also currently working in a Tamil film called Vaa Deal.
In the film, superstar Ram Charan Teja will be seen as a stuntman. The actor will be seen sporting a Bruce Lee tattoo. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, who was last seen in Ravi Teja‘s Kick 2. The film has music by Thaman, and is produced by DVV Danayya.
Chiranjeevi, who is on the verge of beginning work on his 150th film, is currently busy finalizing a suitable script. The biggest names from the South film industry including Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, Kamal Haasan, Pawan Kalyan, Venkatesh, Rana Dagubatti, Khushboo, Charmee and many others celebrated another achievement of the superstar’s as he also completed 35 years in the Indian film industry.
Also Ram Charan & Sreenu Vaitla’s RC9 Movie Teaser was launched at Chiranjeevi’s 60th birthday on August 22. The Mega Power Star Ramcharan’s Merupu RC9 director Sreenu Vaitla twitted that about this teaser launch.
The director tweeted, “#Megastar garu to launch #RC9Teaser at the fans event today. What better way to start the celebrations! #MegastarTurns60.” And “Honoured to announce that Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu is going to be a part of #RC9.Title and details coming soon.”
