Malayalam industry’s leading actors Prithviraj, Jayasurya and Indrajith are all set to dazzle the audiences in their upcoming flick Amar Akbar Antony. The trio has recently posted their first look from the film in the form of a selfie that is now being circulated in the social media. The film sets the trio’s comeback after nine long years!
Amar Akbar Antony will mark the debut of Nadhirshah as a director. He has previously proved his skills as an actor, a lyricist as well as a television host. Storyline of the film states that it’s a comical thriller revolving around the characters Amar Akbar and Antony. Given the iconic Bollywood film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna, it looks like the Malayalee trio has a lot of work to do!
The selfie posted by the stars sees actors Jayasurya in a completely new avatar. The Punyalan Agarbattis actor is known for experimenting with his looks but on the other hand brothers Prithviraj and Indrajith have maintained their standard look for this film as well. Amar Akbar Antony will star actress Namitha Pramod in the lead role and a cameo appearance by actor Asif Ali.
The trio will be seen coming back together after their last blockbuster Classmates directed by ace filmmaker Lal Jose. Produced by United Global Media Entertainment and Ananya Films, the script of the film has been penned by Bipin George and Vishnu Unnikrishnan. The film is slated to come out later this year. Prithviraj is also working on the films Ivide, Pavada and Mayflower, which also stars actor Jayasurya.
