MUMBAI: Moser Baer India Ltd has posted a net loss of Rs 789.09 million for the year ended 31 March, 2008 as compared to net profit of Rs 1097.87 million for the year ended 31 March, 2007.
The company’s total income has decreased from Rs 20612.44 million for the year ended 31 March, 2007 to Rs 20017.28 million for the year ended 31 March, 2008.

The group has posted a net loss of Rs 2022.87 million for the year ended 31 March, 2008 as compared to net profit of Rs 788.27 million for the year ended 31 March, 2007.
Net sales / income from operations has increased from Rs 19840.37 million for the year ended 31 March, 2007 to Rs 20700.10 million for the year ended 31 March, 2008.
Additionally, Moser Baer India Ltd’s (MBIL) subsidiary Moser Baer Solar PLC is planning to raise an amount equivalent to $150 million.
