MUMBAI: MTV Hero Honda Roadies has tied up with the action packed movie Race produced by Tips.
Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu, Roadies producer and judge Raghu Ram along with the first Roadies winner MTV VJ Rannvijay kick started the action.

MTV will also bring the Race with Roadies Contest wherein one character of the film Race will be revealed every week on MTV Hero Honda Roadies 5.0 right after the elimination round. To participate in the contest, all one has to do is identify what character of the film has been revealed on that episode and SMS Race to 56882. Winners get to attend a special screening of Race with the stars of the film and Roadies anchor Rannvijay Singh. Participants can also win merchandise and CDs of the film. The contest starts on 9 February until 15 March.

This year the MTV Hero Honda Roadies 5.0 contestants are Shambhvi Sharma, Ankita Sehgal, Vikrant Rathore, Snehashish Das, Anmol Singh, Sonel Singh from New Delhi, Nihal Nikam from Mysore, Ashutosh Kaushik from Saharanpur, Varun Saini and Prabhjot Virk from Chandigarh, Vibhor Gupta from Dehradun, Ayaz Ahmed from Kolkata and Ankita Bajaj from Ranchi .
In line with the show, the web initiative on Roadies 5.0 – www.mtvindia.com/roadies also has an offering with uncensored Roadies clips, the Roadies theme song by the music group Agnee, blog spots with each Roadie and an interactive discussion board giving viewers access to Raghu Ram, Nikhil Chinapa and Rannvijay.
