MUMBAI : Music video and ad film director Shareen Mantri is busy scripting a new film she plans to direct. Mantri, synonymous with videos like the Rakhee Sawant starrer Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar, Rangeela Re, says she has begun her film work in earnest.
She says, “After doing so many music videos, the next logical step is obviously Bollywood. Right now, I’m busy scripting the film and have some names in mind who would suit the characters. It’s the best time to enter Bollywood, since the industry is open to fresh ideas.”
“Although my focus will be films, my company Eye Candy Works will continue to make music videos and commercials,” she concludes.
